This summer was a busy one. Going back and forth from Seattle to Southern California to photograph weddings almost every other week had me in a bit of a whirlwind but a great one! I have loved being able to live in Seattle and build up my wedding clients here as well as travel back to LA and continue to work with amazing couples down there. And this particular wedding was so special (and GORGEOUS) and I’m so excited to share it with you all.
You may remember Amos + Mace from there downtown LA rooftop engagement session which was also featured on Style Me Pretty! This happy couple selected Green Gables Estate in San Marcos as their wedding venue. This was my first time visiting Green Gables but, oh boy, was it a great one! For any bride and groom looking for a quaint and charming San Diego wedding venue then look no further. I do have to mention that the getting ready room was pretty much a dream and unlike any other bridal suite that I’ve ever seen! All white, wall of windows and vintage décor. What else could you want? The lovely old schoolhouse made for a fun backdrop for portraits as well as the greenery found around the property. Mace and Amos tied the knot outside with all of their friends and family there fully supporting them. The evening was full of great food, fun and lots of dancing! From multiple traditional Samoan dances to sibling performances I don’t think I have ever seen quite as many presentations at a wedding before. But the highlight of the dancing was definitely the bride and groom’s first dance where they mashed multiple songs together and totally owned the dance floor! Their entire day was a dream for any Southern California wedding photographer to document and I felt so lucky to be by their side.
