One of the highlights of wedding season this year was photographing a destination wedding in Maui for the most darling couple, Jenny + Charles! This was my first time heading out to Hawaii for work and I have to say that I am definitely a fan. So anyone looking for a Maui wedding photographer I am more than happy to meet you out there to celebrate your big day!
Charles and Jenny actually spent an entire week in Maui with friends and family soaking up the sun and enjoying paradise before tying the knot. They really wanted the entire destination wedding experience to be fun and memorable for all of their guests. Their wedding celebration took place at the Four Seasons Resort at Wailea and it was beyond amazing. The day started with a rooftop ceremony complete with lush, tropical trees and a view of the ocean. After the intimate ceremony I rushed the happy couple down to the beach for some sunset portraits. Both Charles and Jenny are in the wedding industry so they had so many fun and stylish details to photograph like the ever-popular Mrs. Box (a dainty felted wedding ring box), engraved champagne flutes and antique brass pineapples with custom luggage tags inside as a gift for each guest. Jenny’s dress was a lovely, feminine grey BHLDN gown with delicate lace detailing and the perfect tulle skirt. I simply cannot say enough great things about this day! I’m already looking forward to my next Hawaiian adventure!
