As a wedding photographer in Los Angeles, I am constantly surrounded by amazingly talented wedding vendors who love and adore the bridal industry just as much as I do. And while I spend much of my time capturing real Southern California weddings, it is a lot of fun to mix it up and collaborate with creative individuals on dreamy styled bridal shoots. It is truly an invaluable time that allows us to let our imaginations run wild! After all, as wedding vendors we spend quite a bit of time studying and obsessing over all things wedding, therefore these opportunities are a great time for us to let those creative juices out in a productive way!
So with the upcoming Easter holiday in mind, a few local LA wedding pros and I came together to create a breathtaking bohemian-chic bridal concept that incorporated multiple Easter elements! Our goal was to put together fresh and new ideas to help inspire the every day bride looking to add a little bit of whimsy into her upcoming wedding! We tied in pastel hues, three ethereal Claire Pettibone gowns, an oversized bridal bouquet & flower crown, DIY paper mache Easter eggs, a decorated horse and so much more. As for the location, with all of the delicate details we selected a tucked away horse trail in the outskirts of Los Angeles to add an earthy and rural component to our shoot. The hidden pathways, lovely riverbed and perfect lighting most definitely added the rustic edge we were hoping for!
