The Pacific Northwest is a very special place to me and I love any chance to go back to visit. So when my dear friend Lora, of Lora Grady Photography, asked if I would come up to Seattle and help shoot a backyard wedding in the San Juan Islands I immediately bought my plane ticket and started packing!
Camila and Elliot’s San Juan Island wedding was simply perfect. They tied the knot under a beautiful wooden archway at Elliot’s childhood home surrounded by dear friends and family. Their special woodland wedding was complete with an intimate ceremony in a private forest (!), a quaint pond that served as a beautiful focal point during the reception, a family style farm fresh meal, and a s’mores bar! I can’t wait to venture back to Washington to shoot another Seattle wedding soon!
